“God dwells in His creation and is everywhere indivisibly present in all His works. He is transcendent above all His works even while He is immanent within them.”
The kitchen center has refrigeration, hot water, wood stove, gas range oven, barbecue, fire pit, storage room and covered seating for about 30 people.
Nearby is the Hood Canal for boating, clamming and swimming as well as the Olympic Mountains for hiking, biking and fishing.
My name is Alan Reimann and I have had the honor and privilege of being named the new director of Wilderness Northwest. It has been a strange mix of excitement and sadness this past summer, to step into a role that was so wonderfully filled by my father-in-law, Jody Weed.
For close to 40 years, Jody invested his heart into creating a facility where families and church groups could go to get away from the distractions of life and to connect with each other and with our Amazing Creator. It is my desire to continue this mission and grow the ministry of Wilderness Northwest as God leads us into the future.
We are always looking for more volunteers who are willing to come up to Wildenerness Northwest to help us attend to the grounds, prep for new groups, and prepare activities for the campers. If you’re interested, please reach out to us!
Today we’re looking for you to give $10 $25 $50 $100 a month. Wilderness Northwest has been privileged to serve hundreds of families over the years because of the generous support of volunteers and donors. You can keep the vision going and help us expand with your prayer and financial investment.
